The brief was simple: “make it feel like a hotel.” The room was not. It had a bathtub doubling as a shower, beige tiles and a leak that kept coming back.
We took the room back to bare concrete, then laid a two-layer waterproofing membrane and water-tested it for 48 hours before a single tile went down. The shower got its own walk-in zone behind frameless glass, and the bath moved under the window.
Being a condo, we handled the paperwork too: the renovation permit, the deposit, and the building’s strict working hours.
